Barcelona is the second-largest city in Spain. It hosts 9.06 million international visitors every year. The city is home to several different holidays, sporting events and attractions. Veteran visitors suggest seeing the Pabellon Mies van der Rohe or Barcelona Pavilion which features the city’s central garden and the famous sculpture, Alba. There’s also L’Aquarium de Barcelona either. It’s one of the world’s largest aquariums, Europe’s only oceanarium and an underwater tunnel that is almost 263 feet long. Don’t miss the Torre Agbar skyscraper either at is is an incredible sight when it’s lit at night.
17. Hong Kong
9.11 million people from around the world visit this region of the People’s Republic of China. It’s located in Southern China on the east side of the Pearl River estuary. There are more than 7.4 million residents of different nationalities living in the 426 sq mile territory, making it the fourth-most-densely-populated region on the planet. The best times to visit are in March and November. While Chinese New Year is the obvious draw, they warmly embrace Christmas too.
