10.08 million international travelers visit this southern province of Thailand. It’s the main island of a group of 33. This tropical location may experience afternoon showers–specifically during monsoon season–but is otherwise exceptional. Between the months of November and February however, it is less humid. Dine at the exotic open-air island eatery Baan Rim Pa. It’s a two-story teak restaurant located on a cliff high above the beach. Enjoy the “anything goes” nightlife too. Sip rooftop cocktails, gender-bending theatrical shows, and basement clubbing. Nothing is off limits.
