88. The Monywa Buddha, Myanmar
Situated in the town of Monywa in Myanmar, this reclining Buddha sculpture is actually hollow. Visitors can actually stroll through the 300-foot long tourist attraction. Inside you can take in 9,000 little images of the Buddha as well as his disciples.
As this goes to press, the Monywa Buddha is the world’s largest reclining Buddha. Believe it or not, that could soon change. A reclining Buddha of stone is being completed in the Jiangxi Province of east China. It will be 416 meters (1,365 feet) long.
