Keukenhof, Lisse Lisse, The Netherlands

This is the world’s largest flower garden. Also known as “the garden of Europe.” It covers an area of over 79 acres and includes 7 million flowering plants. They are only open from some time in March to some time in late May. That’s when they have millions of tulips in bloom.

Visitors can also take in the beauty of other flowers as well including bluebells, daffodils, hyacinths, narcissi, sculptures, and fountains. Every year they have a specific theme. They are also known for their presentation of the largest lily show on the planet. You can stroll the 9+miles of walking paths or take the 45-minute boat ride tour.
