Take in the Birch Aquarium
Just north of the city situated in La Jolla, you’ll find the Birch Aquarium. This popular aquarium is not as flashy and large as some other well-known aquariums or sea-themed parks in the “Golden State.” Veteran visitors report it is full of sea dragons and many other exciting exhibits. Here you will witness many improbable creatures that appear to be closer to something from a child’s fantasies than from the seven seas. It’s especially good for families with little children and the admission price is good too.
