Enjoy The Coney Island Boardwalk
The Coney Island Boardwalk is yet another New York City icon. The best time to explore it is during the spring or summer. In the early fall, you can sit by the beach with a brew or martini in hand. Of course, you can ride the thrill rides and roller coasters any time of the year here at Luna Park. You can also enjoy a fresh hot dog at the world-famous Nathan’s (where they hold the yearly hot dog eating contest), and go to the Coney Island Aquarium. In June you can attend the Mermaid Parade.
Go To The American Museum of Natural History
The American Museum of Natural History is said by those in the know to be one of the city’s best museums. This museum includes a total of 45 exhibition halls that cover four entire city blocks and house over 30 million different artifacts. Veteran visitors report that one of the most popular and well-known of the museum’s properties is the fiberglass model of a giant blue whale. This model weighs in at 21,000 pounds and is 94 feet long.
