This relatively new museum is part of one of Manhattan’s most noteworthy new buildings in a long time. Opened to critical acclaim in 2015, the building was designed by the famous Italian architect Renzo Piano. The art collection herein covers 50,000 square feet and six floors of indoor gallery area. The museum is dedicated solely to American artists throughout the years. Explore the expansive art galleries then head outside where you will discover even more artwork. If you’re into people watching then this is a great place to do it! Grand Central Station is the largest railway station in the world. Millions of commuters pass through here every day. It’s not only utilitarian, but it’s also one of the most attractive public places in the city. Originally modeled after an ancient Roman public bath, the main concourse consists of 12-stories and includes beautiful chandeliers, shops, eateries, and an interesting map of the constellations painted on its ceiling too.
