These pyramids in Cairo, Egypt are arguably one of the most recognizable UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Here you will find the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Pyramid of Khafre, Pyramid of Menkaure, the Sphinx, and other archeological finds.
One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it features mini pyramids, tombs, and, in the Solar Boat museum, a well-preserved ceremonial solar barque. If you don’t like crowds, avoid visiting between November and March.
