10Thanda Island, Tanzania

Nestled a mere 16 nautical miles from the mainland coast of Tanzania, Thanda Island is owned and run by a couple of Swedish businessmen. It is evident that the duo is concerned about natural ecology and keeping the landscape spotless.

There is a private reserve (focusing on sustainability), solar powered energy, lots of walking trails and a bunch of water adventure activities (diving and snorkeling). A three night stay (minimum required) costs $10,000/per night on a full board basis only.

  1. You keep using the term “swish,” which means effeminate or gay. What’s that about? Did you mean posh?

  2. Swish is a word that has always been given to flash things in our part on the world. Long before gay things were openly spoken about

  3. Just a fast hello and also to thank you for discussing your ideas on this page. I wound up inside your weblog right after researching physical fitness connected issues on Yahoo guess I lost track of what I had been performing!
